French Specialist Programs Enquiry
This page provides information on making an inquiry to join one of our French Specialist programs either the French Partial Immersion program or the French Binational program accredited by the French Ministry of Education.

Your email should include the following information:
Your child’s name, DOB, current school and year level and the reason you are changing schools.
Your child schooling history in the last 3 years
Your current residential and immigration status (if you are not Australian citizen)
Recent school reports (in English or in French), NAPLAN results if available, along with any other relevant information.
This will assist us in assessing your request and in supporting your child’s academic and pastoral needs as they transition into a new school environment.
For expression of interest for Year 7 2026 intake in a French Specialist Program please:
Register your expression of interest for AHS French Specialist Programs with the online form HERE
Upload supporting documentation (schooling history & last available report). These elements are used to assess eligibility for FSP programs.
Year 6 students from Victorian Government schools only: record AHS as you first preference on the placement information form lodged with your primary school as directed by your Primary School.
Candidates will then be invited to take part in a workshop and interview with AHS French staff in term 2 of 2025.

Participation in either French Specialist Program attract an additional specialist fee of $580 per year for French Partial Immersion and $2,940 per year for French Binational Program in 2025.
