Our international student program welcomes students from all over the world and is a valuable part of our school’s multicultural community. We currently host students from Cambodia; China; Dubai; France; Germany; India; Indonesia; Japan; Korea; Malaysia; the USA; and Vietnam.
The program’s designed to help international students thrive academically, socially, and culturally. To foster this, we’ve created a personalised education program tailored to their needs and goals.
Although our curriculum is rigorous and challenging, our school’s small class sizes, individualised attention and dedicated teachers help every student to reach their full potential.

Orientation
Studying overseas is not easy, and we aim to make it as smooth as possible for students and their families. Our program offers a comprehensive pre-departure, airport pick up and orientation program.
We provide students and families with a pre-departure package including information to help students get ready to travel and prepare for life and study in Melbourne.
Auburn High School is just 6 kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre, in the leafy inner-eastern suburb of Hawthorn East. The region features many green spaces and amenities. These include Fritsch Holzer Park – a large open space popular for recreational activities. Anderson Park is another significant park in the area, with panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline.
The school is well-serviced by public transport: train, tram and bus services are nearby. There’s also a dedicated bicycle path through local parklands which many students use to cycle to school.
