Our Wellbeing Team is a multi-disciplinary group of professionals who work together to provide a comprehensive range of services to support the wellbeing of our students. The team is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the help and guidance they need to overcome personal challenges, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
Services We Offer
Our Wellbeing Team provides a range of services to support the diverse needs of our students:
- 1:1 Support: Personalised one-on-one sessions with members of the wellbeing team to address specific emotional, mental health, or physical concerns.
- Group Work: Therapeutic and skill-building group sessions to promote resilience, social skills, and peer support.
- In-Class Psychoeducation (Years 7-10): Our team delivers psychoeducational programs within classrooms, teaching students about mental health, sexual health, stress management, and emotional wellbeing.
- Homework Centre: Supervised on Tuesdays by the Wellbeing Team, the Homework Centre provides a structured and supportive environment where students can complete assignments and receive additional academic support.
- Financial Assistance: We provide guidance and support for students and families seeking financial assistance for school-related costs, ensuring that financial barriers do not impede student engagement or success.
- External Referrals: When needed, we work with external agencies and professionals to refer students to appropriate services, including psychologists, social workers, and community health providers.
